The Brian’s Women of Heart Foundation supports those in need, at arm’s length of our poker community, throughout the year.
What is the Brian Hartner Charity Event?
The Brian Hartner charity was created in 2018. It is a registered charity organization which will honor Brian Hartner through his legacy.
We are now into our fifth year and are proud to present the 6th Annual Poker Event this October 26, 2024.
Originally the event was organized to show our support for Brian Hartner who was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in February 2018. However, being the family they are and with big hearts, the Hartner’s requested we include others who are experiencing health challenges, tragedies or generally need support, and so the charity and annual event was born.
Each year an event will be held and proceeds will go to support those in need and who are an arms length of the poker community.
In 2019 we introduced “Brian’s Women of Heart Foundation” which is an extension of the Brian Hartner Poker Charity. The idea behind BWOH is to support those in need throughout the year rather than just at the one annual event.
All funds raised are to benefit recipients and their families. All work underatken for both the event and foundation is generously done by our volunteer team and committee members.
