Founded November 2019

In 2019, as an extension of our charitable work for the Brian Hartner Poker Charity, we also introduced “Brian’s Women of Heart”.

The goal of BWOH is to create ways to support those in need throughout the year rather than just at the one annual event.

The women’s foundation works to touch as many people in need within an arm’s length of the poker community.

Our work within our community varies. We may give donations to help those suffering from cancer or illness, put together additional events, send flowers, create scholarships or send people to poker and other events.

The list of things we can do is endless!

Our first meeting was held December 5, 2019 where we met 15 other women to discuss how to take the Foundation to the next level.

Since our first meeting we have established a foundation director: Darcie Allen, who has worked very hard to get the foundation off the ground.

This year we have touched the lives of many in our community and we are always looking for new ways to help and also find new volunteers to join us!
